And as South African’s, we’re blessed to live in a diverse country with weather patterns that permit year-round camping. Mapungubwe National Park

Located just 12km from Thabazimbi, Marakele National Park has various campsites on offer and also offers self-catering safari tents. If you prefer a little more luxury, the Motswere Guest Cottage is your best bet. Kids have the opportunity of getting up close and personal with the Cape Vulture colony that calls this park home. There’s also loads of bird viewing, game viewing, bush walks, and eco trails on offer.

The Wamrbaths Forever Resort in Bela Bela is a timeless classic and always a hit for families. The resort offers caravan stands and camping sites. They also have self-catering chalets and cabins on offer, or if you prefer, you might be interested in the hotel. From heated pools to pedal boats and speed slides, this is a water paradise. The resort is famed for its abundance of pools, zip line, cable water ski, super tube and its spa.
